Well I have noticed since the update, tattered cape - salvagable has now changed to quest item....now what does this mean????

I remembered Gwen saying her mother had picked a bunch of apples... Well, there's also the fact that she'll follow you except into towns. That got me thinking about the Orchard quest for Mary Malone outside Fort Ranik. "Could that be her mum?", I pondered...

Well, I led that little brat from Ascalon to Ranik and no, it's not her mum. :/

Her mom's name is Sarah, she's a herbalist. I saw her outside the cottage next to the respawn portal in Ashford Abbey once and was like "Hey, it's Gwen's mom!" but she didn't say anything except about needing to find some more <herb name> or something. I told Gwen to stop following me and she stayed near her mom. Next time I went past there, Sarah was gone.

Gwen wasn't a total nusience. If you got her the cape, pipe, and flower she would spam heals on you occassionally. Not sure if you needed the flower for her to do so though.

If her flute was in old ascalon and her cape in fisherman haven, that means her dead body must ofdrifted all over the GW world. Possibly she might be still alive?
